Overview
The Hamlet converts loot into future capability. Guild, Blacksmith, treatment, recruitment, and stress relief compete for resources; priorities depend on the heroes who will actually run upcoming missions.
Upgrade for the problem it solves
| Building | Function | When to prioritize |
|---|---|---|
| Stage Coach | Recruitment and roster capacity. | When a role or a second party is missing. |
| Guild | Skill training and upgrades. | Before harder quests with outdated skills. |
| Blacksmith | Weapons and armor. | When active heroes' health, speed, or damage lag behind. |
| Abbey / Tavern | Stress relief. | To recover heroes needed for the next rotation. |
| Sanitarium | Diseases and quirks. | When a penalty disrupts the role or causes interaction risks. |
| Survivalist | Camping skills. | When longer quests need planned prevention and recovery. |
Before the expedition
- Upgrade skills and equipment used by the active roster.
- Expand recruitment without maintaining an unaffordable roster.
- Treat expensive quirks when they support a strategic role.
- Keep enough gold for the next expedition's supplies.
