Overview
Crimson Court, Shieldbreaker, Color of Madness, Butcher's Circus, and Fire's Edge affect different parts of the game. Every guide should identify when a hero, region, item, or rule requires DLC.
Optional content, separate from the base game
| DLC | Content | Before enabling |
|---|---|---|
| The Crimson Court | Courtyard, Crimson Curse, Flagellant, and districts. | Adds campaign pressure; inspect the separate activation options. |
| The Shieldbreaker | Hero and dream-related content. | Plan party movement and camping. |
| The Color of Madness | Farmstead and distinct combat content. | Separate the introductory mission from later challenges. |
| The Musketeer | Free class similar to the Arbalest. | Class trinkets are not automatically interchangeable. |
| The Butcher's Circus | Separate PvP mode. | Do not copy PvP stats into the campaign. |
| The Fire's Edge | Runaway, Duelist, Burn, trinkets, and districts. | Check platform and hotfix; this is first-game content. |
Before the expedition
- Mark optional content in the title or opening block.
- Do not mix DLC enemies and Curios into base tables without a filter.
- Explain campaign impact before recommending activation.
- Check compatibility and version against official notes.
