The Fire's Edge brought Runaway and Duelist from the sequel into the original Darkest Dungeon, alongside Burn, new trinket mechanics, and districts. It is recent content that should be checked against official notes.

What to check in the September hotfix

The official September 14, 2026 note identifies build 27987, with changes for Steam, GOG, Epic, and PlayStation and other platforms planned later. It includes a roster slot for each new hero in Stygian/Bloodmoon too. Do not assume a pre-hotfix video uses current values or that every platform has the same build. Check current notes for exact numbers.
